Ovie doesn't care to score goals anymore since these goals don't count towards beating Gretz

He just bangin bodies nowadays

And he scores!!

Kind of amazed there wasn’t more of a response to Lauzon (sp?) cross checking Ovechkin repeatedly down to the ice, including a shot or two to the face.

Watching this...Defense wins championships. Toronto and Edmonton are pretty damn lucky to be in the North division.

Didn't realize Washington had moved Oshie to the middle to center the 3rd line - now that's depth! (And that's with Kuznetsov out)
Lars Eller is their 2C. I don't think they are getting by with skill, it's a complete team game out there. All their forwards finish their checks, cross-check, play dirty, and play a two-way game. Their forwards are so gritty, they just pounded Boston at every opportunity. A bunch of elite grinders after the 1st line

Starting with the defence, all 6 defencemen could play top 4 minutes, but Chara-Jensen is a great bottom pairing. Perfectly balanced. Boston on the other hand is young and inexperienced. I like MacAvoy, Carlo, but after that it begins to fall off in terms of experience and strength. Krug is gone. Chara is on the opponents, so this series is WSH's to lose.
