I miss Fazio in the PL. Perfectly suited to the league playing for a team pushing a high line. Talk about some brilliant scouting.

Yup.
That Adli deal is good for both parties. He's going to get some mega playing time on a decent team with huge upside (they got bought and will invest money).
PSG got 5M out of someone who could have been gone for nothing recently and will fund part of Gueye.
Of course, I expect him to shine enough to make PSG regret this deal, but he probably wouldn't have had a chance with PSG, so I'm quite happy he can develop properly on an ambitious team.

Christensen is going nowhere. He'll be playing more in the second half of the season with the multiple competitions, and Luiz is north of 30 and on one-year contracts. Christensen and Rudiger remains the CB pairing for the future (hopefully with Zouma as well)

Apparently two seat cushions have washed up on a French beach which the authorities believe likely to be from E. Sala's plane. Search set to re-start (probably not till the weekend due to weather conditions).

He should have went to Arsenal.

He would rotate with Guendouzi and probably take a lot of Xhaka's starts.
And get shit on for all the little mistakes he would make as a 16-17? Year old. I’m actually very happy he isn’t going to the EPL. It’s not a development league. Players that need to develop get left behind.

Guendouzi is a little over 1 yr older than Adli. He's going to end up with he most apps this year among Arsenal midfielders most likely.

Great. That’s one guy. Now look at all the other guys who couldn’t make the PL and had to go elsewhere. (Sancho is probably the best recent example)

The only people who **** on Guendouzi and look at tiny mistakes are neutral fans watching the game. Or porn stars, but that's a different story.

He's managed to keep some of Ajax' biggest talents on board so far (Unuvar, Brobbey, Gravenberch, Bakker) which has been a major plus, and while he also lost some, it's pretty much inevitable. It's really amazing how Ajax manages to sprout out these massive talents to come through and make their debuts while they lose so many over the years. Just during Overmars' tenure, these are some Ajax lost (note that the teams are who they play for now):

Timothy Fosuh Mensah (Manchester United), Daishawn Redan (Chelsea), Jaivaro Dilrosun (Hertha BSC), Millen Baars (Manchester United), Pascal Struijk (Leeds), Tyro Nimmermeer (Lazio), Ki-Jana-Hoever (Liverpool), Annouar El Mhassani (West Ham), Donyell Malen (PSV), Juan Famillia Casttillio (Chelsea), Bobby Addekanye (Liverpool), Vicente Besuijen (Roma), Anderson Lopes (Monaco), Jayden Braaf (Manchester City). Bergwijn left the academy just before he arrived. With Kluivert (Roma) also still being much of a talent when he left. Not to mention pretty much every big time players all leave way before they reach their full potential and having just lost their talent-tag (Erikssen, Vertonghen, Alderweireld).

And we can now add Bakker to this list as well. He's being snagged by PSG. Bakker was long seen as the clear cut option at LB for Ajax I. Offensively very gifted, defensively he shows grit and perseverance. Though myself and fellow Ajax watchers have been less impressed this season in that he tries way too hard whenever he gets opportunities to show himself. He takes a lot of risks and has a lot of trickery in his game, but rarely uses it effectively. Kind of fell of a cliff this season. Maybe that's why he still wasn't re-signed. Still somewhat of a hit for Ajax. I was looking forward seeing him getting much more of a fair shot when Tagliafico leaves over a year.
