Findlay is suggesting Felix Lauzon may end up at UNB shortly.

He signed a LOI with Concordia in the summer before going pro, which raises an interesting question. If you sign a LOI, does a pro contract negate that, allowing you to go to another school if you choose to go the U Sports route in January? Or do you need to honor your original commitment?

You can choose to go to a different school than the original LOI school but cannot receive an AFA for the academic period covered by the LOI. (1 Year)
Reading through I can't see anything that states not coming to school for the first semester negates the LOI unless Lauzon didn't get into admitted into the academic program of his choice or Concordia released him from the LOI.

Brett Jacklin leaves Laurentian to go play his 20 year old season of junior A with Rayside Balfour very odd move imho

It's an unusual move but I see his logic.
Laurentian has a terrible team and their season will be over soon.
Rayside has one of the better teams in the NOJHL. He'll have a chance to go deep into the playoffs and perhaps even contend for a championship with them.

Better chance to win which makes sense just rarely see guys go from uni back to junior A

Christian Tsukamoto, South Shore (MHL), to RMC

This brings RMC's recruiting class to 11 players, including 5th Round NHL Pick Chris Paquette from Peterborough, with only 4 notable graduating players.

The RMC team that *just* missed the playoffs in 18-19, and waxed Queen's 5-1 in the Carr-Harris Cup, will be much deeper in 19-20, and will feature the return of 2017-18 USports All-Rookie Team Riley Brandt, who missed all of last season due to injury.

RMC will make the playoffs, and will put a good scare into some higher-ranked teams.

Other than Riley Brandt getting hurt again, this post aged well.

RMC makes the playoffs by beating UQTR, McGill, and then beating UQTR and Ottawa back--to-back.

RMC 3, UQTR 2
RMC 3, McGill 2
RMC 6, UQTR 4
RMC 4, Ottawa 3
