Liverpool interested in Donyell Malen, according to a few English sources.
Any good ones?

The thing is that Liverpool have a Rhian Brewster problem. Liverpool allegedly did not go for a forward because they were comfortable with Brewster taking those minutes. Brewster hasn’t made the bench yet.

Passing on a guy with 48 goals and 38 assists the last two seasons because his passing accuracy last season was just 75%, compared to Paul Pogba’s 82%.

The number I saw in one British journalists and top tier source's tweet was 67%.

Edit: This was possibly thrown in the discussion and his play in the final third (possibly that passing percentage was in there):

Seems like Fernandes would be a Pogba replacement but not someone you would be comfortable putting next to Pogba so I kind of get why we didn't go for him yet?

A lot of the way this current team is being handled annoys the shit out of me.

That said Malen has looked like a great understudy for Firmino. His workrate of late has really impressed me, and he can play anywhere across the front line.

He'd be United's 2nd best midfielder by a fair margin no matter how you think he would fit next to Pogba. Considering the alternative was no midfield signing, I'd say United screwed it up.

Barca hit with a massive fine for tapping up Griezmann.

The Spanish Football Federation has fined then an incredible 300 euro.

I'm guessing they'll need to offload a ton of players in the next couple windows to not go bankrupt from this.

Why bother evening fining if it was going to be that low? What a waste of time.

Atletico are appealing the fine saying it’s too low. Barca are appealing the fine saying they did nothing wrong. The plot thickens.

In reality Barca probably have no issue paying this low of a fine but need a counter suit so Atletico doesn’t get the increase they want.

It’s largely symbolic but hilarious nonetheless. Petty on both parts.
