I hate loanies, and AZ rarely loans players, but I like how they managed to get Felix Correira for two years from Manchester City. Major talent who should fit in well with Boadu and Stengs up front.

Sounds like United will have to pay something on the order of 12-15m pounds out of Sanchez's wages this year for Inter to take him on a loan so they'll be effectively paying him ~250k/week to play in Italy.

Not knowing the full loan details, curious what United supporters would think of this. Seems to me like they'd be better served holding on to him if that is the case unless there's a compulsory component at the end of the season. He just must be a major issue of the pitch.

I get the feeling that a few of the higher paid players were coasting last season, and that the club had a country club feel to it, just based on comments by OGS and some of the moves.

It doesn't make sense in a vacuum to pay 1/2 and loan Sanchez when your depth is bad at forward. Might as well keep him.

But if they know he's gonna be an issue and they're concerned about the impact on the younger players (of which they are a lot), I understand.

(Could also be they have a mandate to cut expenses and don't care how)

I can only assume that Solskjaer wants him gone and doesn't think he can get enough out of him.

Rumors are that he's a headache in the dressing room to the point that it was more than likely he'd just be with the reserves this year anyway. It sucks to pay a dude millions to play for another team, but it's better than paying him more millions to train with the reserves.

If you can save 100k you are still saving 100k. No way Sanchez is worth even 100k per week.

I’m sure one of their CDs could cover at the wing better than Sanchez could anyway.

Totally agree, I just wondered if OGS could motivate him but it doesn't sound like that's the case.

Rumours out there saying that Emery has had talks with El Neny and Mustafi about restarting their careers with new teams before the transfer window closes.

Last year he looked fine physically. The year before he looked absolutely broken.

The issue last year was that he just isn't good enough to play regularly for Spurs. And with injury issues on top he never got going. At Brugge he can be 90% and still be good enough to play. That will help his confidence. If he is even 80% of the player he was in his first year at Spurs he would be good enough for the PL and certainly for Brugge (not that Brugge is necessarily that bad of course - just that Wanyama is then quite good).

It sounds like he has some issue with his knee or something that could still mean he wouldn't pass a medical. We'll see. I hope he finds a new team where he can play. Even if he is not my kind of midfield player I got nothing but respect for him.

I'm not always right when judging talent, but I never thought much about Sanches.

It’s amazing how hyped he was a couple years ago and how fast he’s fallen.

It's not a motivation issue. Dude just physically can't handle PL football anymore.

True, just Euro 2016. At Bayern he did nothing special. Well, he's just one of those youngsters...

He was a decent prospect before that, but he did have a pretty great tournament that probably upped his price by 20m.

Just another agent trying to increase value and interest. Ajax is not interested. They are done adding players.

For some reason I think as soon as he's out, DDG extension will get done. Get the overpaid leftover out, pay the team veteran/leader what he deserves/wants.

Schick has supposedly decided for Leipzig over Dortmund. Dortmund is now going to try to sign Milik from Napoli. Icardi signing with Napoli might help that deal get over the line.

Dortmund are interested in signing Camavinga next summer. The last superstar youngster at Rennes ended up at Dortmund over some bigger clubs. Dortmund has a good relationship with Rennes because both are sponsored by Puma, so we might have one of the better chances in Europe to sign Camavinga when he leaves Rennes.

Papers in Germany say that Bayern are in the lead to sign Havertz next summer. They could have a much better transfer window next summer if they can add Havertz, Nubel, Sane and Werner. That would be a very strong transfer window.
