Arsenal is going to swoop and sign Dybala from under the noses of Spurs and will sign Alderweireld on a free next summer.

    Of course.

I am not keen on selling Kean, no pun intended. I am more accepting of his sale if it does bring us Neves.

Juve would probably give him for free.

About Juve, Monaco is trying to get Matuidi.
But PSG are still discussing Neymar for Dybala+Matuidi+money.

Which is exactly what Pochettino did his first year at Tottenham, too. Then he lucked into a third place finish - I say lucked in because that point total would have been good for fifth this past year. Then he peaked in second (peak both in terms of league position and points. Now he's maintained being part of that next group (and before we get all upset about this, over the last four years, Leicester, Arsenal, Man U, Man City, Liverpool, and Chelsea have all finished ahead of Tottenham in at least one year, with only Chelsea and City being repeat performers).

Anyway, this argument's been had 8 ways until Sunday. Don't know why people feel the need to start it again and again. And before we go and blame the Gooners, it tends to be one throw away comment and then 18 people deciding they need to talk about how good Tottenham is, how bad Arsenal are, etc. etc., including a whole Tottenham brigade and some Scousers who can't help but to poke the bear.

I really don't want Dybala to go to Spurs, not because he's amazing, but because I don't want my boy @Duchene2MacKinnon to become a filth Lilywhite.

I was agreeing with everything except you lost me with Laca being better than Kane. Not sure what universe you live in there, Kane is a top 3 striker in the world at the moment. Doesn't hurt admitting something that's true.

Dybala is amazing. and there's very very little right about the quote you posted.

And then they have the nerve to complain that threads get derailed.

If you want to argue about Arsenal and Tottenham, take it to the premier league thread.

Dybala next to Kane. Haha. One can only dream.

Not surprised if Spurs made contact, but they seem to be doing that every summer - checking the situation with “random” high level players. Only time it kind of worked was with van der Vaart. Dybala is not van der Vaart.

Someone actually WROTE that Lloris was horrible in the WC and almost cost France its title.

I mean really???? It's not even an opinion here, everyone saw Lloris save France's ass the whole tournament.

Lloris was indeed awesome. Saying otherwise is rather... uneducated.

After signing striker Wesley Moraes earlier this summer, now it looks like Aston Villa are getting another highly rated player from Club Brugge. Defensive midfielder Marvelous Nakamba apparantly is on his way to Villa for a medical after Brugge accepted an offer from them. Should be at least €12m.
He's very similar to Kanté in style of play. We signed him 2 years ago from Vitesse. He's had a fantastic debut season but lost his starting place last year due to injuries and the fact our coach prefered a more technical player in that position.
But the Premier League should be a great fit for him.

Yeah, he was good in the tournament. He could have cost them the spot there in the first place though. Still remember that Toivonen goal in the last minute ;)

I doubt the Neymar rumor is true. Where is going to play? He plays the same position Ronaldo does and they are both ball hoggers and shooters. Did we rob a bank? Juve is not his first choice team. How long does he stay until he asks to be sold to Barcelona again?

Ceballos finally presented as an Arsenal player! Good signing that boosts our much needed midfield depth. Hopefully more of a Cazorla or Fabregas than a Denis Suarez.

I mean Ronaldo has started playing more centrally lately. But I think you could fit them in pretty easily with Ronaldo on the LW/ST and Neymar as a AM/LW.

Villa had already spent £100m before this signing according to transfermarkt and before announcing Douglas Luiz from City. Linked with Perin too. Didn't really work for Fulham signing so many players.

Villa have spend roughly 35m pounds more than any other PL side right now.

Interestingly enough, big 6 sides occupy 3 of the bottom 6 places in terms of net right now with both Liverpool and Chelsea being positive and Arsenal only being a few m negative.

That depends. He plays more centrally when Mandzukic is playing. I don't see Mandzukic staying on the team anymore.

Vallejo next to exit madrid on loan rumour is Wolverhampton. Hopefully Spanish starlets think twice next time madrid call. Asensio, ceballos and Vallejo all had their career derailed because of going to Madrid.

The problem with Fulham was buying a ton of attacking players but never really adressed their championship level defense.

I am more surprised they let Ceballos leave on loan considering Asensio is injured. Maybe James stays.

Vallejo derailed because of injuries. Can't really grab a permanent spot in the squad when you are never fit.

Lookman to Leipzig complete. I remember the buzz when this kid first made it into the fold.
