What other RBs were there when you took Gurley? I'm guessing he was either your 1st or your 2nd?

Carson is a great pick. A lot of people love Andrews this year. Mattison and Thompson have been impressing in camp. Crabtree is a nice dart throw even though most people shoot for young guys at the end. Nice job.

Gurley was my 2nd rounder, 19th overall. I passed on Mixon, Mack, Kerryon, Adam Jones, Davonta Freeman, Damien Williams and Fournette

Not a lot available when I picked Crabtree, as you can see the young upside guys I grabbed earlier and others likst Justice Hill and such were grabbed by others earlier. Not pumped about Crabtree but he was a good WR once and with a familiar and, hopefully, high powered offense maybe something can happen. With 16 teams it gets thin real fast

6 starters and only 8 bench spots? Yuck.

I get that Hawaii throws a ton (who doesn't nowadays?), but you're banking on them a lot. I couldn't tell you a thing about the players, but I know what type of offenses these teams run. Stanford I know loves using their tight ends. Oklahoma State lost a lot at WR over the last couple of years, so someone has to catch it. I think picking the smaller conference guys for fantasy college is the way to go.

If I could have been there for the live draft I probably wouldn't have drafted the entire pitch and catch duo of Hawaii lol (though I don't neccesarily have to play a couple of them all the time) but yeah even I know they do tend to be a pass-happy offense at least since the days of June Jones.

The idea of the league is linking it up with a pro team as a quasi-minor league (we can promote two college players a year to our NFL roster, which is 25 deep).

My draft I had on 8/18. PPR. 1-QB, 2-RB, 2-WR, 1-TE, 2-FLEX, 1-K, 1-D, 6-BN.

12 team draft and I picked 8th.

1-8: Conner
2-Kelce
3-Fournette
4-K. Johnson
5-A. Jeffrey
6-Josh Gordon
7-Allen Robinson
8-Matt Ryan
9-Hyde
10-R. Freeman
11-Curtis Samuel
12-K. Singletary
13-D. Thompson
14-Winston
15-P. Campbell
16-Isabella

I IR'd Gordon because yahoo allowed it and picked up the Jets D. Hyde, Campbell and Isabella are cut possibilities with me needing a kicker and needing to take Gordon off of the IR when ready.

Oof. I don't like it at all. I hate Conner this year. I don't like taking a TE super early. Having Alshon as your WR1 in a PPR is obviously not ideal. Hyde was an awful pick, even last week. I'm not sure who K. Singletary is. I would have liked to see you take another WR where you took Ryan. Jameis is a perfectly fine starter in my opinion.

I'll throw in something different for the heck of it cause I just did a college football draft for the first time, not sure how many people here do it though. While I autodrafted I paid some attention to the Fantrax rankings and scoring when doing the pre-rankings and had round-by-round position picks so I didn't wind up with nine QB's lol.

This is a twelve-team points league with only six starters (QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE) and eight bench spots. Think I did okay all things considered but with an autodraft and not being a huge CFB fan what do I know?

QB - McDonald (Hawaii), A. Rogers (UNLV)
RB - Warren II (Cinci), Torrey (N. Texas), Rivers (Fresno St), Armstrong (Notre Dame), Patterson (Buffalo)
WR - Wallace (Okla. St), Byrd II (Hawaii), Shakir (Boise St), Ward (Hawaii), J. Johnson (Oregon)
TE - Parkinson (Stanford), Ferguson (Wisconsin)

The stack lives!

What pick did you have to give up for Mixon?

I'm not sure how you got both Adams and Rodgers in a 12 team two QB league, but good job. I don't like Jones this year, as the coaching staff seems to not like him. I don't like Smith either, but they're both back of the bench players for you. I love Dede this year (and so does Foles). Good job again.

Why a kicker so early? It looks like you took IDPs a little early too. You getting both Elliott and McCaffrey is ridiculous. I like Godwin a lot, but I wouldn't be comfortable with him as my WR1. Montgomery is a good pick that late, as is Ekeler.

My only one year league this year...

12 team PPR, 3 WR, 2 flex, no kicker, 2 IR... 2nd pick

1. Alvin Kamara
2. Keenan Allen
3. Kerryon Johnson
4. Julian Edelman
5. Melvin Gordon
6. A.J. Green
7. Duke Johnson
8. Cam Newton
9. Donte Moncrief
10. Eric Ebron
11. Golden Tate
12. Philip Rivers
13. Justice Hill
14. Cleveland D
15. Doug Martin
16. John Ross

I was torn between Kamara and McCaffrey for awhile leading up to the draft, but I decided to take Kamara. I figured that Gordon and Green were good values where I took them even though they'll probably miss the first quarter of the season. Duke Johnson... will he finally get a chance to be a lead back? I hated that I took a QB "early", so that was a big regret. I took a defense a little earlier since I love the Week 1 matchup at home against Tennessee. Martin was released before I drafted, and I knew that. I took a chance that maybe Houston would claim him (maybe Tampa, I don't know), but he was placed on IR yesterday.

Does anyone know if I could stash Gordon and Green on IR before Week 1?

I would agree with that. I think that's a solid 2nd quarter of the draft

Green yes, Gordon no. It’ll be the same as Bell last year. He just takes up a bench spot.

8th round pick for Mixon.

Surprisingly, only 2 QBs had gone in the first two rounds so I was able to land Rodgers in round 3.

QBs: Jered Goff, Kirk Cousins
WRs: JuJu Smith-Schuster, Brandin Cooks, Dede Westbrook, John Brown, MVS, Miles Boykin,

On first glance, I think I need to work on my RB position. I went heavy WR, TE, and WR in the first three rounds but I feel like I could have taken a RB a lot earlier than I did. Also, Jacksonville ended up becoming a panic pick, and then I found out they play KC in week 1. I'm probably getting a new Defense when the waiver wire period ends.

I always take Zuerlein too early. I know it’s not the smartest thing but I have a soft spot for him.
I’m not exactly happy with Godwin as my WR1 but when Zeke was still there at the end of round 2 I had to take him. I’ll be exploring trade options to boost my receiving core.
The guys in this league are all pretty new to fantasy and draft unconventionally. I was actually the last one to draft an IDP, a QB and a WR and still had the best draft grade given by Yahoo.

What other RBs were there when you took Williams? He seems like a boom/bust pick this year, and taking those at the 2/3 turn is extremely risky. I like both of your QBs. And I like it that you reached on the Browns D. I'm not so sure about Michel this year since there are so many RBs on the Pats' roster.

I like Carson this year, but not as an RB1. I don't like taking the upper tier tight ends in a 12 team league (10 teamers, I don't mind as much). Kelce should have been the pick, but I don't blame you for taking one of your guys. I like Waller this year as a sleeper. Montgomery and Breida are solid backups. Again, I don't know what to think about New England's backfield except that White will have a big role regardless.

It's hard for me to judge 10 team leagues. Ekeler and Duke are really good value picks. I like it that you got Wilson late.

Kittle in the 5th sounds about right in a league where tight ends can only be put in a WR slot. Considering that it's 16 teams, that's probably a good value. Having that small of a bench will make for some interesting decisions. I don't think having a backup QB with that small of a bench is a good idea. McCoy seems like a waste of a pick to me. I like Singletary's value a lot more.

L-Jax is a huge steal considering the 2x rewards for rushing touchdowns. I have no idea why he went that late, then. Williams in the 6th is a steal even though I don't like him at all. Howard is great value as well. I like it a lot, but then again, it's a 10 teamer. So I don't know if that's really good or not.
