Also is Zach Welsh related to Matthew and Nick Welsh? Just wondering. Also is there any Newfoundlander talent going into the draft? Hope to see at least a few names up there.

What about Evan Nause? He's missing from your top 30 but every scout I've talked to says he could easily go top 5. Some saying he's better than Whynot. Thoughts?

Noticed you have Belchamber 24th, haven’t seen him yet, he’s clearly improved a lot over the past 2 years.
i never noticed him much in bantam last year, but the games I watched of Gatineau he looks impressive with the puck and makes some very good plays, he is in the right areas on the ice and has a good shot.

Yea good for him, I’ll see them soon. He was really average there for 2 years.

Delorme and Lacourse Dion seem to have really faded...

I don't think Delorme ever deserved the praise. His skating ability in bantam was absolutely incredible and he is a very hard working player, but his creativity and shooting ability were never really good even in Bantam, it's not that surprising that he's had trouble producing in Midget AAA.

I'm actually quite surprised that Belchamber does so well, but I'm happy about it. Crafty little player.

Delorme more than deserved the hype, he was a terror and his shooting was good, creativity wise i mean he was a sniper...

Belchamber isn’t little and yeah ?

Btw Warren outscoring Charbonneau...

Belchamber was 5'06 - 131 lbs the last time he was officially measured. He has grown a bit since then but is still a pretty small player.

EDIT : Midget AAA website has him at 5'8.5 and 135 lbs now. He'll be measured again at La Baie Tournament. Huge guy.

Delorme had a poor shot even last year, but created so many turnovers using his speed that he had many breakaway chances which translated into goal scoring. I had him outside of my top 30 among Bantam AAA players and it's looking damn good.

Yeah, Warren is producing more than Carbonneau right now, so what? His shot isn't as good and he doesn't have Charbonneau's vision. He's good at rushing the puck however. I like both of them, think Charbonneau has more offense than Warren anyway.

I know you tried to be a smart ass here because you disagreed with my previous list, but that wasn't very smart.

I don’t consider 5.6 little, but hey that’s just me. No denying he’s improved.

So we agree on his speed, just not his shot. To be fair he played against some weak teams... pretty often.

Yea.... only agree with the rushing the puck part.

And why wasn’t it very smart ?

Like it’s your opinion, and I truly believe the Charbonneau can be better than Luneau if he gets an extra step and improves his lateral movement and pivots. However, Warren is going first overall next year.

From what I have seen over the past years, Belchamber always had a great hockey sense and was playing big for his size. It was a question of time for him, he started to improve a lot after the Christmas break last year. He just had his growth spurt after a lot of players. He has a great upside because of that, still have a lot of room to improve.

He makes players around him better and does the little things that makes the difference.

He doesn't look small on the ice, but could add some weight, things that i'm sure he will do in a near future.

And me to, happy for him!!!!!

I'm not scoutman1 but in my opinion Gaucher is a little bit better than T. Roy, Belchamber and Bergeron. The others from Quebec are probably a bit better than Gaucher.

I second this sorta...

I don’t agree with quite a few of scoutmans rankings, but I would have Gaucher in the top 15 easily, I think he lacks explosiveness, but he’s got everything else.

Kensington Wild on an impressive run this year, which continues this weekend as they have been making some noise in Chicoutimi. Biggar, Campbell, Mcquiad all good draft eligible kids from that team that are making and impact
