Gotta say, everyone you hoped showed up today, did. For a team with the worst prospect pool in hockey, there are some solid prospects here.

Ruzicka looks like a man playing against boys. Bouchard has looked very average. Not what you want from that huge of a prospect.

Went to this one. Nielson was quite good as was Wolf. Pospisil, Ruziska, and Phillips stood out positively for forwards.

Flames prospects were decent. The Oilers team was terrible, finished with something like 43 SA and 19 SF.

The Oilers are a tire fire of an organization.

Bouchard is going to get absolutely savaged in the NHL if he can't learn to skate like a defenceman as is skate backwards and pivot, dude got turn styled literally every rush the Flames had, just a lumbering goofball in his own end.

Samorukov is even worse, just a tire fire out there tonight. If Stauffer says this guy and Bouchard are guaranteed top 4 d-men for the Oilers may God have mercy on Oiler fans souls because these guys looked atrocious.

Benson completely unnoticeable and yet Spector has him pencilled into the Oilers line-up with 35 points.

The Oilers are a disgrace to the word sport let alone the game of hockey.

Flames dominated this entire game and we supposedly have the worst or one of the worst prospect groups in hockey. Just f***ing lol

A piece of Wolf. I love the quotes from Sigalet.
HOWLIN' GOOD TIME
"So it was a good mental test for Dustin to stay focussed. Unfortunately on the goal it hit our stick and went in. But you can see how well he reads the play. A couple times there he was standing up to make saves because he's reading the shot.

"At his stature you have to play the shot well. I don't think he plays small for a guy his size, though, Because of his smarts he plays big, he's always square, tracks the puck better than most goalies out there.

"So even if he didn't get a lot of action you could see some of the assets of his game."

Different prospects are at different stages of development. Winning two games means squat. I also believe it was our AHL system that was ranked among the worst, not our just prospect pool. Which makes sense since all of our top prospects graduated or went straight to the NHL. Other than Dube, our AHL club is littered with NHL long shots.
