i haven't seen recent rumors,
but as NYR fan, i wont mind if they pursue him,

the right side of NYR's pro prospect depth drops from
Adam Fox (with Shatty gone, maybe gonna move right into NHL role)
to Joey Keane (rookie from OHL)
to undrafted Darren Raddysh 23 (yeah Taylor's brother) who didn't distinguish himself after coming over from CBH,
and 30 year old vet on AHL deal Vincent LoVerde

NYR have excess depth among LHD, some with off-side experience and success,
but Priskie would balance out the pipeline nicely, while waiting for Nils Lundqvist
but he may choose not to compete w Fox, if team w clearer path comes knocking

His loss. I've always enjoyed my visits to Edmonton and know people who live there and love the city. They don't work or play for the Oilers so maybe that's the issue here.

Brent Gates and Steven Ruggiero (Anaheim) have signed with San Diego.
Gulls Sign Six Players to One-Year Contracts | San Diego Gulls

Marcus Vela (San Jose) is listed on SJ AHL's affiliate roster. He has presumably been signed to a AHL contract.

"Max William" is a typo and should read "Max Willman", and "John Kupsky" goes by "Jake Kupsky", for those following along.

Priskie is the clear leader of players without commitments next year.

Dudek is interesting only in that he was drafted by Jersey, traded to Edmonton, and then signed an ATO back with Jersey's AHL affiliate after finishing school. Wonder if NJD still has interest in keeping him around.

Wegwerth is one I like. Shortened season this past year, but was really stepping up before his injury. If he can comeback from his injury (torn knee), I think he could be a decent AHL depth pickup. He's fairly big and will get physical, good forecheck. Offensively, he's always done better when he's given a bigger role, but reality is, he'll probably be in the back of a lineup, adding grit.

Anyone knows why Jermaine Loewen is a free agent and Brandon Saigeon is not ?

Both are 1998 born that has been drafted in 2018. Capfriendly has Saigeon in the reserve list but no Loewen on Dallas.

Also, Caley, maybe add a section for players drafted as 19 years old. Is it the same rule (2 years) than being drafted as 17 or 18 y.o. ?

Hunter Drew (Anaheim) is also without contract but he is a "late" 1998 maybe it's the reason his expiring date is 2020 june 1st ?

Edit: I think I have my answer on this page. Probably because Loewen didn't receive bonafide offer after year 1 and Saigeon receive it. Anyway, it will be great Caley to have this tracking too but I know you already do a lot for us and thanks for that !
