Pre Season doesent mean very little.

It literally Means nothing at all. I know that upsets people who want hockey to come sooner but it’s the truth. I’m not saying don’t keep track because it’s cool if someone does as its always interesting f I’m just saying so far what hiostory has proven. In a league with so much parity where the score is usually between one or two goals you’re not going to get any accurate reading on teams. I mean ty rattie looked like Gretzky last year.

Weren’t Colorado the pre season champions the year they were historically bad? There’s tons of examples but yeah, even judging your own prospects is hard because their pre season games against teams not playing good players etc

It's just for fun dude. No one cares about preseason.

Buffalo hasn't been a preseason champ and have been historically bad.

Lol. Even though everyone knows wins mean nothing in these games it's still kinda ridiculous that the "preseason champions" would go on to finish with the worst regular season record in the post-lockout era.

So there's roughly 90 games taken place and we've only had 1 shootout.

I don't know if thats actually a low amount, but it seems low to me.

That’s what I said.

Did you even read my post? It wasn’t that long at all. It’s like you read the first line then went on to write that, people have the attention of goldfish these days because like 8 people liked Your post and probably did the same thing.

It’s mostly just noise and teams just approaching the games with different objectives.

Also, there are probably some bad staffs out there that place real emphasis on the score which would probably explain why they fail later on for refusing to tinker.
