Don Mills are unanimously the team to beat in GTHL, and are early favourites for the OHL Cup. The Marlies and Nats follow behind in the G. Look for the Vaughan Kings to make a major improvement over last year's performance, as well the Rebels to make a push for a top-3 spot. In Alliance, Brantford looks really strong, with Waterloo, Kitchener, and London behind them. Chatham-Kent is an intriguing team as well, especially with Deni Goure. In ETA, Whitby and Quinte should be favourites, followed really closely by Peterborough and North Central. As for SCTA, Guelph should be considered heavy favourites, with only Hamilton looking like a potential threat.
It's shaping up to be a strong draft class overall, led in talent by the GTHL, as usual. With that said, Alliance is going to have a big bounce back year in terms of the talent it produces for the OHL. Two really strong prospects in HEO as well in Mason McTavish and Connor Lockhart.
We've compiled a way too early Top-10 Rankings for the 2019 OHL Priority Selection, as well as several honourable mentions to keep an eye on for this year. This list is not solidified whatsoever, so look for lots of movement outside the top 8 or so, especially due to NCAA commitments.
