Its exciting, despite no playoffs unfortunately this year..

Kotka,Poehling Suzuki are here
Possible UFA incoming
15th overall pick deep draft.

Things could be worse

Yeah, they could. Claude Julien could be the head coach for three more seasons....:sarcasm:....

Habs found a new way to generate revenue: charge more for seats at the end of the row cause they're more in demand!

Updated the OP with the expiry of the rights to Walford and Tyszka. They are still eligible for the draft. They may get taken. If not, an AHL deal may be an option, even with Habs.

Updated the OP with the AHL signings of Morgan Adams-Moisan and Joe Cox.

Joe Cox was on a PTO last year and came in and made an impression. He got hurt and didn't finish the season. But he did enough during his playing time to warrant an AHL contract. I'm happy he's returning.

Just updated the OP with the extension of Gustav Olofsson.

Laval defense shaping up to be real solid. And with the likes of Ouellet and Olofsson, the Habs will have two call up options with actual NHL experience.

The buy out period starts today. Two most likely candidates for Montreal are Alzner and Weise. I don't think they'll buy either out. Most likely keep them and bury in Laval.

According to Mario Langlois (Habs' play-by-play announcer on 98.5FM), the Habs have extended a qualifying offer to Charles Hudon.
