Why not fire Friedman? This team has had the same weakness for four years and not much has been done to address it. This team is stagnant.
Cause it isn't his fault Kershaw shit the bed in game 5 or Darvish couldn't pitch in either game. Last year Boston was better. This year, Im not sure. It happens, just baseball.

Dave Roberts maybe on the outs.
This is inexcusable.

Did Joe Madden sign with the Angels yet?
If not...we could see some 'interesting' transactions happening.

Are the Dodgers the biggest chokers in all of pro sports?

They lost to a 101 win team in 2017 in 7 games and a 108 win team last year. This year they played a 95 win team that played at the pace of a 108 win team for 70% of the season. Let's stop with this choking narrative. Even the best team playing the worst team in the playoffs is probably like a 60/40 win probability.

It's almost as if Roberts was saving his best relievers for when they get the lead...when they're the home team.

Up 3-1 in the 8th giving up two solo shots is a choke. Giving up a grand slam in the 10th is a choke.

So you want him to trade a ton of value for the most volatile position on the field?
I want to see a stronger bullpen. It’s been a persistent weakness since at least 2016. Friedman doesn’t do much more than rearranging chairs on the Titanic. The prospect pool is deep, and yes, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with using a surplus of prospects as trade capital.

I reckon.

Dave Roberts pulled a Marty Schottenheimer.
Play close to the best, get a lead and try not to screw up.
Over manager everything, coaching screws up and then you are left scrambling on what to do next.

As with Schottenheimer, great regular season success but zero to NONE playoff ones.

And are we really doing the Kershaw choker thing? That pitch to Soto was awful but the pitch to Rendon was at his f***ing shins. Any pitcher would be fine leaving a pitch there.

Roberts says he thought Kelly had a good chance of getting a ground ball from Kendrick, and then Jansen would potentially be brought in vs Zimmerman.
