This must be their best or maybe only good offer if they keep trying to send Clowney to a team he doesn't want to play for.

Geno won the job, so you have to think the team is dealing with roster spot mechanics right now and will bring him back after the conclusion of the Clowney trade...maybe IR a body or two as needed.

Mingo May or may not have been cut, but the other LB they sent was making their roster. So player in player out in that regards. This isn’t a cap room move given Smith is in the veteran minimum.

Are they maybe looking at someone else who was cut from another team? Denver is also looking for another QB with Lock hurt as the backup.

They re-signed Geno, so that's exactly what was going on.

The Jets games 2-6 are Browns, Pats, Eagles, Boys, and Pats.

Mike Brown is cheap but it wouldn't surprise me if he did this deal because of how good Gio has been for franchise and loyalty and wouldn't shock me to see him transition to post career with Brown and Bengals in a management or coaching role

I do too, but guy hasn't gotten 150 touches since like 4 years ago. Running back salaries are hilariously weird these days. Jerick McKinnon, Duke Johnson and Giovanni Bernard are in the top 10 RB salaries. :loony:

Considering their lack of options at WR, maybe they should use Bernard in the slot sometimes. He's a good pass catcher.
