LOLOLOL I was actually fairly confident in this one till the first pass interference on Roberts. Only then did I have the SOJ feeling.

Just keep calling penalties on the Jets until the Coyboys win.

#AmericasTeam

Eh the first two were legit, the last one on Jamal was a birthday present for Jerry Jones, but you really can't even risk putting a hand on the back on 1st and 27 - the refs are gonna look to even it up if there's anything ticky tacky.

Thank god they stopped the two, now snuff out the onside kick.

Hah the two point play was a lot closer to pass interference than the one on Jamal was...but the Cowboys already passed their quota of gifts on that drive.

I have no idea how the Jets beat the Cowboys, but that may have just saved my Eagles season.

Just need to stay within a game of Dallas until all the injured Eagles starters return to the field.

Darnold back just in time to save Gase's job and lead the Jets to 7-9

I dig it

Eh at some point Darnold has to play and play well. If they go 1-15 without Darnold then he can't stay on the field. If they go 1-15 with him then they already failed with one QB pick. At some point the QB needs to show progress even if these are 'meaningless' games (they'll be four games behind Buffalo for second in the division after next week). Today was a good start for that. At some point you have to stop losing and start showing progress, as we're finding out with the Devils picks don't always translate into winning.

The Jets win before the Devils. I did not see that one coming.:help:

Other than the pick Sam threw, what an awesome game by him.

Both teams suck. I wouldn't be too excited. Every single year this division is massively overrated.

Robby Anderson was excellent. The defensive line was stout and I was surprised how many times Dak, who is no statue, ended up on his back. He's going to need a good masseuse this week.

Draft pick capital is getting undervalued in the NFL now, I guess you'll never see a 2 and a 5 go for Marshall Faulk again lol

after the Herschel Walker trade and the Pats spinning player after player for draft picks I think teams are more cautious about it. NO only paid a third for Bridgewater who while coming off an injury had been a starting QB while Garrapolo only returned a second if memory serves.

Mahomes down and out. Shame to see as he's a special player to watch.

But... As a Giants fan perhaps the narrative around Barkley will change?

There's no heir apparent to the current generation of QB's on the verge of retirement besides maybe Wilson or, so I thought, Mahomes.

It'll be interesting to see if there are real heir apparents to the big 5 QBs in the NFL if they will make the rules more conducive to running the ball...

WILSON is really growing as a QB. Mahomie looks like the real deal. I’d say those two and Luck when he comes out of retirement in two years to play for Sean Payton in NO.

This makes no sense.

Mahomes injuring his knee on a scramble has nothing to do with whether the Giants should have taken Barkley or not. Plus its not like his career is over or something.

It was late and I wasn't as eloquent as I would have liked to have been.

Do I know that Mahomes career is over? Obviously not, and I sure hope this isn't a consistent issue as he's a treat to watch.

But, the ENTIRE narrative surrounding the Barkley pick was about running backs being injury prone, not being able to build around one, and that supposedly generational class of qb's.

And here we are with the future (of the league) going down. We're all hoping for a speedy recovery but the MRI results haven't come back yet.

As football fans we've been spoiled for the better part of 2 decades with insane amounts of talent at the position, I'm just not seeing how that's definitely going to be the case moving forward.
