I still can't get over how horrible the execution was on that final play. Down by one, jump on anyone while taking a shot to draw a foul and finish this at the free thrown line.

This should have ended when Kawhi dumped 8 points on three consecutive drives in like 40 seconds but in fairness, Steph and Klay matched that clutch-ness.

When you're down 3-1, that away game 5 is always the toughest to win. This is going 7.

It wasn't that the execution was poor, the defense was exceptional. First during the switch Klay gets on top of KL and forces him to take the ball close to mid-court instead of at the top of the 3 point line, taking away the pull up 3. Warriors then set into their D and Iggy lets go of his man, lets Dray handle both the big man under the basket and Lowry who cuts to the corner 3. Klay offers the right side to KL and he takes it, Iggy immediately steps up and takes away the lane trapping KL and forcing the pass. He has to go left because they have taken away the passing lane to the right side. He hits FVV and this is when the crucial thing happens.

Dray risks giving Gasol rebound position under the rim and goes over him expecting the ball to swing to the wing to Lowry. This in turn also allows him to better contest the shot. IMHO, the error here is FVV not taking the shot. He had enough separation from Livingston. Had he taken it and missed it they could potentially gotten another crack at it (IIRC there were like 3 secs on the clock when he got the ball) because Gasol had boxed out Dray and was in a prime position for a put back. Instead he swung the ball to Lowry who had Dray 4 feet from him and closing in fast. There was no way he was getting that shot off without Draymond getting a piece of it.

They should have Ibaka and Gasol on at the same time. We dominate the paint. Siakim needs to move the ball more too. He spreads the floor when he is involved.

Drake can **** talk Draymond, Toronto fans can act like idiots and cheer KD’s injury, yet even with an apology for a stupid mistake, Mr. Stevens can’t attend the last ever game at Oracle to watch his team force a Game 7. Dumb.

Oh well, Dubs in 7. Splash bro’s

Mr. Stevens?

A moron like that doesn't deserve to be called Mr. He wasn't even involved in the off-court collision.

It's like that Jays fan that threw the can on the field during the playoffs a few years back. Just no place for that.

Comparing that to making noise in the bleachers is pointless.

That really annoys me. He most certainly does. He’s a billionaire Silicon Valley mogul.

In terms of the moron comment - ok, what he did was wrong. But heat of the moment, emotions running high, he made a stupid mistake. It happens. Pro athletes do way worse and get slaps on the wrists.

 He’s been their second most valuable player throughout.

What games have you been watching?

Lowry has been good on the defensive end and moving the ball up quickly, generating turnovers and taking charges, but his half-court decision-making has definitely been curious at times.

So?

What does money have to do with anything?

A seasoned captain of industry should have better sense.

Yeah, and he's paying for it.

Tough luck.

I'm not going to hate him forever, but it's a good thing he's sitting out for his mistake.

How lol? Imo chuckers are players who take and often miss a ton of low percentage shots, while playing at an inefficient rate. They also have no little impact to their team as all they do is iso and chuck. Steph and Klay are nothing like that

It IS funny how Curry shoots the ball - he kind of "chucks" it from the top of his chest as opposed to raising his arms above his head.

I've never seen anything like it.

No wonder it's impossible to stop.

Thompson just moves so smoothly and gets up high so quickly.

What would Ibaka bring on that last possession? You want shooters on the floor. KL would still get the ball in his hands and start the play. What would they do if Ibaka was on the floor?

Warriors knew KL would give up the ball and they made sure someone of the supporting cast needs to beat them and not him. They could've used KL as someone who sets-up below the basket on the right side like they did many times before, and then get him free through some screens, but plays like that take some time to develop and many more things can go wrong compared to what they ran with. FVV had a split second decision to make and he made the wrong one IMHO, but in general the plan was sound and the design was good.

All we needed was a two at that point. Taking the three was dumb. Put it down low and the series is over with our big men. Raptors choked.

They came out hard on Leonard as soon as he got in and around the 3 point line.

One could argue that he should have taken the contested shot but the refs were pretty inconsistent and he seemed off-balance.

It required a lot of split second decision making and a lot of that was due to the aggressive defence of the Warriors on that play.

Have to give some credit sometimes.

I was more disappointed in Lowry's kick-out pass to no one like two plays earlier.

I would have two bigs under the basket to try to tip one in though. Nurse isn't a good coach. He didn't even burn his last time out to set up a play.

Turned into quite the series, even though American media and ratings aren't liking it.

Tons of storylines and drama now, and it seems like ages ago that we were talking about Drake sideline antics.

Toronto's gonna win it, but this win be a long remembered series.

Ya, the three was laughable. Steph in that situation would have thrown himself on anyone while taking a shot to get his ass to the line, that's the play you have to make here.

So the greatest shooter of all time would deliberately make his shot tougher to hit just to be at the mercy of the refs? It's like some of you haven't watched a second of basketball until the Finals.

The greatest shooter of all time is an expert at drawing fouls.
