Ross Chastain returning to full time XFINITY Series racing with RCR Affiliate Kaulig Racing, likely the 10, which he has run 4 races this season, no word of whether Niece Motorsports will be part of the mix in 2020

Getting to Kansas this weekend has been a challenge for 2 major NASCAR Teams..... Kaulig Racing and JTG Daugherty teams suffering issues on the way there....

Kaulig's 10 hauler wrecked in North Carolina on the way to Kansas but they expect both cars to be on site through the assistance of technical partner RCR;

JTG Daugherty's 47 hauler is under review after a fire...... status is unknown

There may be a bombshell within the 1st quarter of the 2020 season..... and it could be the future of the 48 as Jimmie Johnson has set a timetable decision for 2021 within 4 to 6 months as to his future as a fulltime competitor..... Ally likely goes nowhere if a change for 2021 occurs

4 teams, 12, 17, 18, 24 assessed lug nut violation post Martinsville, those crew chiefs assessed a 10K fine;

22 tire specialist, Dave Nichols, Jr. suspended 1 event for post-race altercation following Sunday's First Data 500..... NASCAR assessing Nichols is the crew member who 'aggressively' hauled Denny Hamlin during that altercation, a violation of the members Code OF Conduct (12.8.1 subsection c) of the NASCAR Rule Book;

Danny Stockman, Jr. and Justin Alexander to trade roles for 2020, per RCR release.... Alexander to return to the crew chief for the 3-Austin Dillon, no specific role yet as to where Stockman will be but it states within the organization
