Is there a rule stopping Counsell from intentionally walking 4 straight hitters?

There is nothing to gain if you are MIL. You play on Tuesday. Get out of there ASAP.

This reads more as throwing a game for gambling purposes than get us the f*** out of here so nobody gets hurt in a game that is meaningless to both teams and the entire league for that matter.

the 2019 A's

-davis hit 20 something less homers than the year before. was in a slump for pretty much the entire season
-kendrys morales started games at 1B while canha rode the bench
-nick hundley started games at C and was one of 5 different catchers the A's fielded this season
-ace suspended virtually the entire season while having an all-star year
-closer and setup man from 2018 both struggled all season and were injured by september
-olson/laureano/piscotty all missed over a month
-manaea missed most of the season. top prospects (puk/luzardo/murphy) all weren't called up until recently due to injury
-everyday 2B unable to make routine throws and turn DPs
-no clear cut starter at 2B or LF heading into the WC game
-bullpen blew the most saves in all of baseball

and somehow through all that they managed to win 97 games like they did last season. i really don't know how

imagine thinking yadier molina is afraid of anthony rizzo lmao

and good job missing the joke. rizzo had previously complained that the pirates dared to pitch inside to then throw sliders away. he's a grade a clown.
Rizzo charged an entire dugout. I've never seen Molina do anything other than run his mouth.

The Pirates are the dirtiest team in the league, everyone knows it.

Rizzo is literally everything you want a baseball player to be. Great guy, great player, great story, plays the game the right way, tough as nails, teammates love him, definition of a leader.
