We are months away from the CHL season to start up again! We are on the Memorial Cup 101 Season! I wanna hear your early predictions before till 1 month into the regular season and see who you guys think will win Memorial Cup 101 in Halifax, Nova Scotia! This season will be quite interesting should be a crazy year. I’m not the best at this myself but I’m gonna try my best. You never know you may be right!

My predictions as of now are...
Halifax Mooseheads (HOST)
Drummondville Voltigeurs (QMJHL)
Kingston Frontenacs (OHL)
Spokane Chiefs (WHL)
I take it the OHL isn't probably the league you follow the closest. Kingston is completely devoid of draft picks for like the next 6-7 years. They're in complete rebuild mode. They won't be competing for an OHL title this year.

Yeah I really don’t. I gotta start paying attention to it more. I’m a huge QMJHL guy so yeah. I’m gonna do farther research and redo my predictions.

There's quite a bit of OHL on this site and links to websites like the OHL Collective. General info on OHL teams shouldn't be too difficult to find but it seems like this year is gonna be difficult to predict this early. Good luck.

Predictions As Of 10/16/18
-
Halifax Mooseheads (HOST) [8-2-0]
Prince Albert Raiders [10-1-0]
Baie Comeau Drakkar [8-2-1]
London Knights [4-3-1]

Halifax Mooseheads have started there season on an amazing note despite many top guys having injuries they’ve still been able to play consistent and have been playing there first 15 games on the road. They’ll be very excited to watch through the season.

Prince Albert Raiders are off to a pretty crazy 10-1-0 record if they keep up that momentum they could be a serious threat in the WHL. But I wouldn’t count other teams out. Don’t study the WHL very much but from there statistics they look very strong.

Baie Comeau Drakkar are an old core of hockey players with home grown talent and imports. Have been lighting up the Q and was ranked #1 in Week 4’s CHL Power Rankings. Wouldn’t call them a serious threat but definitely have M-Cup potential.

London Knights have started on a sloppy start without some talent in the NHL. They are packed with very good Prospects and Upcoming Prospects and once the team bonds together they can be a serious threat. They’ll be interesting to watch as the season moves on.

Looks like the lower bowel is already sold out (aside from blocked off tickets)?
I figured those all went to Mooseheads STHs, but I don't know their numbers. My wife & I were happy to go with the lower priced upper bowl package, as it will be our first visit to Nova Scotia so we'll skip a few games to squeeze in some exploring.

Looking at the bad attendance and the prices for tickets in Regina to an almost sold out crowd in Halifax with cheaper tickets it should definitely be a successful one. Can’t wait

Not as far fetched as I would've thought when this thread launched in mid-summer. Wolves look like contenders at this point.
Must help having a guy like Byfield. The guy looks insane for his age.

I don't who between Rouyn-Noranda or Drummundville will get in but I do think the Quebec team will win it all anyway
I think Ottawa 67’s vs London Knights and Rouyn Noranda Huskies vs Drummondville Voltigeurs are gonna be insane battles.

Good chance neither team makes it to the Finals.

The OHL is so wide open with London, Sault Ste. Marie, Saginaw, & Guelph in the West and Ottawa, Oshawa, Niagara, & Sudbury in the East... it's a crap shoot as to who comes out of there alive
