I will make a thread everyday until we have determined the top 20 prospects according to Leaf fans on HFBoards for I think my 10th straight year. The criteria for a prospect will be loosely based on Calder eligibility. There may be a couple that slip through the cracks the first few posts because I am not perfect. Also please let me know if I have someone listed that is no longer with us, or any omissions. Comprehensive prospect lists are a little harder to find than you'd think this time of year.

Brazeau, Rasanen, Stotts and Abramov are underrated around here. Bracco, Engvall and Hollowell are overrated.

Kral isn't that good, and in a weird spot this season. He isn't good enough for the Marlies, and would take an OA AND International spot in junior, which most teams try and avoid. Perhaps he goes back to the Czech?

Just came back from Jokerit - SKA (KHL) preseason game where Eemeli Räsänen played. He was still incredibly terrible. Absolutely no puck skills, no offensive or defensive ability, no hockey iq, just nothing. It's insane how this guy went second round is it judt because the size he has? I don't think he would be good player even in Jokerit's affiliate team which plays in Finnish secons highest league.

Yea probably size. Hunter and Lou seemed to have a size obsession and wasted a lot of picks on that fixation, thankfully they're not longer part of the organization.

it was out of Rasanen and Gordeev to save face for hunter on these giant Dmen, Where is gordeev is he still with us? if so there is a glimmer of hope for the giants
