I will make a thread everyday until we have determined the top 20 prospects according to Leaf fans on HFBoards for I think my 10th straight year. The criteria for a prospect will be loosely based on Calder eligibility. There may be a couple that slip through the cracks the first few posts because I am not perfect. Also please let me know if I have someone listed that is no longer with us, or any omissions. Comprehensive prospect lists are a little harder to find than you'd think this time of year.

Rankings:

1. Rasmus Sandin -- 68.3%
2. Timothy Liljegren -- 87.4%
3. Jeremy Bracco -- 60.7%
4. Nicholas Robertson -- 40.5%
5. Trevor Moore -- 32.9%
6. Ilya Mikheyev -- 24%
7. Joseph Woll -- 32.8%
8. Ian Scott -- 47.9%
9. Mikko Kokkonen -- 39.5%
10. Yegor Korshkov -- 29.8%
11. Mac Hollowell -- 35.4%
12. Jesper Lindgren -- 26.5%
13. Pierre Engvall -- 31.6% (tie)
13. Semyon Der-Aruchintsev -- 31.6% (tie)
15. Teemu Kivihalme -- 27.1%
16. Mason Marchment -- 22.9%
17. Adam Brooks -- 32.0%

Tima looks like the obvious next “best player” but I don’t consider him an actual NHL prospect, probably a career AHLer or Swedish elite league player. Just not a good enough skater, period.

I picked Rasanen because he’s likely in the same boat but if he ever gets the rest of his game together he’ll be an NHLer for his size alone and could be a big mean nasty force on D that we haven’t had in forever

Duszak by the length of the straight

I think he's a borderline top 10 talent in this crop of prospects, I thought he was good in the AHL playoffs and his tools look pretty good to me

People are really sleeping on the kid

To be fair, I think people are underrating Hollowell, Lindgren, and Duszak.
Maybe our defensemen pool as a whole?

I think they are

I believe there is significantly more upside with those guys rather than some of those middling forwards like Engvall, Marchment and Brooks that top out as NHL depth imo

Yea if he was drafted by us and just had that year, he'd be around 10 or so

Joe Duszak, sure he was kinda garbage last year in the small amount of games with the marlies. I think he will have a bounce back year.
Hes still a better prospect than timoshov.

also stop voting for brazeau, hes not a leafs prospect !

Luchuk scored 50 goals in the OHL 17-18. Could very likely be Brooks 2.0 this year.
