Welcome to the 2019 HFVHL Entry Draft!

All picks will be tracked in the spreadsheet below:
2019 HFVHL Entry Draft Spreadsheet
Mobile Version
Notes:
  1. This thread is strictly for making selections. If you wish to discuss picks or broadcast trade talks, do so in the main league thread or on Discord.
  2. 2021 draft picks may not be included in trades until the conclusion of the draft.
  3. If you are currently compliant with the roster limits, you do not need to worry about going over due to drafted players.
  4. Please tag the next person -- either in your post or on Discord -- once you've made your selection. This will help ensure that the draft moves as quickly as possible.
  5. Picks can be made in the Discord if absolutely necessary, but please try to make your selections in this thread if possible. If you're worried about missing your draft time, you can always send in a list or ask another GM to make the selection on your behalf.
  6. Once the draft clock has started, rules on submitting purely draft pick trades involving OTC picks will be relaxed in order to avoid slowing the draft down. (Example: If Team A trades an on-the-clock pick to Team B for another pick, the trade can be posted by one and confirmed by the other to keep the draft moving.)
  7. Missed picks can be made up at any point after the GM has been skipped. Teams with outstanding missed picks may be put on auto-skip for the remainder of their selections.

Time Limits will go into effect on: Saturday, June 15th @ 8:00 AM PST

Time Limits:

2nd round (if necessary) - 3 hours
3rd round - 2 hours
4th round - 1 hour
5th round - 1 hour

Best of luck to all of you! For the second year in a row, @Weylspin has the first selection in the 2019 HFVHL Entry Draft and may make his selection now.

After trading for the 12th selection in the 2019 HFVHL Draft, the :stars are proud to select LW/C Matthew Boldy!

Hard working two-way winger who has good goal-scoring ability. Possesses a high level of hockey IQ and smarts to make smart decisions on both ends of the ice, especially on the back check and helping out on defense, an area of his game that was a sore sight just a year ago. Uses soft hands in traffic and in front of net to find an opening and use his shot. Powerful skater that is hard to knock off the puck with his size and weight. Has the skill-set and ability to be a center down the road.

Dallas selects F Jakob Pelletier via list.

A creative playmaker who is undersized at 5’9, but showcases very fast skating and high end stick handling skill. Likes to hold on to the puck and feel his way around the offensive end, picking out good passes with his high end vision. Needs to gain some strength to protect the puck a bit better, but has a shift quality that helps him navigate past defenders. Solid wrist shot that is used diversely to mix up his options.

@Dabeast is up with two picks.
