If he's on the list you can vote for him. They just have to be eligible to be a rookie to qualify and Mac hasn't played enough games yet to NOT be a rookie next year.

I get Boqvist is exciting, but I don't see how he is better than an also former 2nd-round pick in Blackwood, who played 23 games for a BAD team and put up .918% and 2.61GAA. He has been invested in by the organization for some years now and with goaltending that is huge. That to me is a better, more important prospect than Boqvist when considering investment, positional needs, and potential.

Blackwood has played 28 games less than Seney, 11 games less than Anderson and only 2 games more than McLeod - all 3 of which are also in the poll. I get that goalies don't play as much, but if they're all in why wouldn't Blackwood be included?

Cause unlike the others, Blackwood is actually good and has almost a guaranteed spot on the NHL roster next year
