Studenic, add Clarke. Somehow not added even though people picked later than him this year have been, and Clarke was a 3rd rounder

Clarke has been a bit pigeonholed as a great shooter without a lot of other upside. Him and Tyce Thompson as a double over-ager with modest NCAA production won't get a lot of love in the poll this year, but they could both easily prove us wrong.

Santini and Quenneville were our third and fourth best prospects 2 years ago and Blake Speers was our fifth.

I know they were all hot prospects at one time (particularly Santini and Quenneville), but it's hilarious to think about just how recently that was.

Eh, Speers is getting it worse, for good reasons lol

Yeah Speers seems to be deserved. I feel like Seney is dropping this much just because people know he’s “just” a bottom 6 guy since he’s already played in the NHL. Everyone hopes the prospects deeper on this list that haven’t played a single game in the NHL will somehow explode into something special.

Seney is a bottom six little spark plug that can pot a few goals. He’s proven this. I’ve voted for him the past two rounds.

I would be thrilled if any of the remaining players on this list played 50 career games.

Seney played 51 *this season*.

He played 51 games poorly and on what turned out to be a bad team. So yes, I agree, many of the players left to be voted for won't play 50 NHL games, but some will and probably turn out better than Brett's rookie season.

Seney may have the most NHL experience and the highest floor on this list, but he also has by far the lowest ceiling.

ay, there’s the rub. i’m voting based on current accomplishments/nhl readiness, so i voted seney. if we’re voting based on ceiling, i’d have voted differently
