Kevin Labanc should FIRE HIS AGENT. Charlie McAvoy should fire his agent too (guess who that guys is)

Kevin Labanc would've gotten much more if it was a two-year deal. It was a one year deal because the Sharks need it since they're in a cap crunch right now. Labanc will get paid next year .

Dickinson probably could've gotten more as well by the way.

Kevin Labanc has 56 pts last year, he should have gotten SIGNIFICANTLY MORE and needs to fire his incompetent agent.

If he cares about the Sharks' "cap crunch" the PA needs to have a chat with him.

Why the hell else do you think he took this deal ? He did the Sharks a solid and was promised the team will make up for it. Anything else makes very little sense and since nobody can prove anything nothing will happen. This isn't the first time someone took less money to help out his team. Now of course this isn't exactly the smartest or safest thing do to but its what he did. I sincerely doubt his agent had anything to do with this deal . No way an agent tells his players to sign a deal significantly below market value. That was pretty much Labancs decision.

What's the word on Brassard? He was REALLY bad last year, I think he probably gets a one-year deal somewhere to prove his worth.

Unless he gets injured in a bad way, and it's all over.

In a contact sport with guaranteed contracts, you lock in as much as you can.

I don't think this will matter here. Sharks probably promised Labanc gets his money injury or not . Sure its not a 100% guarantee but there's probably a handshake agreement that Labanc gets paid next offseason regardless what happens.
