Some good looking cars. Not sure what to make of the Red Bull.

Haas has a bit of a John Player Special/Lotus feel.

Moving much too slow.

Ouch. Let's wait and see : they might have missed for a ton of reasons, not all of them actually pertaining to the car (... or, even worse, to finances). Also missing 2nd day.

But it smells bad. Really bad. Farting-in-elevator bad.

EDIT : Now that I'm thinking about it.... They had a deal in order to have Nicholas Latifi drive a few practice sessions. Williams probably have no interest in cancelling these, considering Latifi was presumably paying Williams for the privilege to test the car... And especially if the delay is due to financial reasons. Kubica and Russel may drive very, very little at these tests.

The latest is the Williams cars are still in England and they hope to fly them to Spain Tuesday night. May miss part of day three Wednesday I would guess.

1 Vettel (Ferrari), 1m18.161s (169 laps)
2 Sainz (McLaren), 1m18.558s (119)
3 Grosjean (Haas), 1m19.159s (65)
4 Verstappen (Red Bull), 1m19.426s (128)
5 Raikkonen (Alfa Romeo), 1m19.462s (114)
6 Kvyat (Toro Rosso), 1m19.464s (77)
7 Perez (Racing Point), 1m19.944s (30)
8 Bottas (Mercedes), 1m20.127s (69)
9 Hamilton (Mercedes, 1m20.135s (81)
10 Hulkenberg (Renault), 1m20.980s (65)
11 Ricciardo (Renault), 1m20.983s (44)

Random notes: F1 announced today they will more closely monitor fuel use this year. Pirelli is using different molds this year which leaves the tire glossy looking instead of flat.

... The logical conclusion to these testing sessions would be that Mecredes as a motorist appears to have lost some ground, but with Mercedes (the team) possibly sandbagging, Racing Point admittedly running a 2018 chassis modified to 2019 regulations and Williams being, well, Williams, it's probably a bit premature.

It's sad to see a team with the history of Williams going through all of this....would be even more of a shame to see them disappear.

But hey. Wouldn't be the first storied team to go away.
