Try and trade up every moment that Boldy, Caufield and Dach are on the board. When all three go, sit there and see what's on the board at 15. If you've got some equal guys available (say Heinola, Harley, York are all sitting there) move down a couple spots and just take one.

Heinola has the 2nd best shot out of all these kids. His shot isn't bad at all, he's got a wrister that can pick corners anywhere, and most importantly, he knows how and when to use it.

I think York has more influence on that elite US offence than people give him credit for. I mean there is no other defender on his team that came close to touching the same numbers during the season or at the U18.

He doesn't have a better shot than Broberg Seider or Thomson.

Wrister ? Surely better than Seider and Broberg. Thomson has a nasty wrister, but so does Heinola. I'd say Broberg, Thomson and Heinola are all equal or so in goalscoring, but Heinola and Thomson have much better awarness. If I'm honest I could say that he doesn't have Brobergs raw power, but theres so much more that goes into scoring goals.

Take a peek there, he has a few really good looks.

Also, @le_sean, @phillytennis and anyone else doubting Heinolas "speed", look at these time-stamps.

Also, take a peek at the nifty move at 4:26, thats exactly the type of moves that gets you open for a shot as a Dman, thats why I value his shooting.

Fensore had just one less goal than him and like 5 less assists in 5 less games in the USHL.

Im with you on that one, i think its a year unless theres a surprise faller that we should move up or down, we're kind of in a no man's land at 15, so many equivalent talent are gonna be taken in the 20's.. I would either use a 2 round pick to get in the early 10s or add a 2nd rounder and move to the 25 range.

It’s 7 less points in 3 less games and that’s just the USHL. In the USDP it’s 23 less points in 8 less games. In the U18 it’s 7 less points in the same amount of games. Plus let’s add the fact that it’s York playing against the top lines.

People here are trying to discredit York. He was a big part of that team. I hope a better player falls, but in case that doeant happen, York would be fine. Not great, not bad.

Dach is gonna be long gone. Caulfield, Boldy, Podkolzin, Newhook, Krebs, Cozens... 1 will be there at 15, I truly believe that.

I'd probably trade back if Krebs and Podkolzin are on the board, two guys who are too ripe with question marks for me.

Basically just hope one of the Ws fall, if not take the best d available, which very well could be York.

Disagree, if one is there you pounce on them. If both are there, you take the guy you like more. Trading back is getting too cute. Take your guy.

I don't like either of them.

Krebs is all brain no skills.
Podkolzin is all skills no brain.

Between the two of them you might have a player.

Also keep in mind maybe only York answered this question. Habs might be doing their due diligence with all LDs.

He’s got the swagger needed to play in Montreal. KK has it too.

Anaheim won in June 2007. Cam York was born in January 2001.

Still think he's going to Anaheim.
