He still looked like a donkey, but he gets to be the focal point on this team. His first goal was a peno won by another player and the 2nd one was a perfect floated cross from Firmino leaving him with an open net (though a good run to be in that spot).

The buildup from the back is 1990s level football for both teams. It's beyond awful. Sanchez, Mina, Otamendi have all been awful at passing forward.

Paredes and Rodriguez is such an awful midfield, especially compared to what Argentina had in the past. Di Maria is so far past it, and that defence can't build up play
