Even the Penguins-Red Wings back to back Cup Finals wasn’t THIS predictable

Rooting for no contest due to lightning a la the First Commander Bowl.

But for real I hope Clemson wins, but I think Alabama either blows them out or beats them going away.

ESPN just blamed the lightning for not wanting to wait any longer to show the game since there were other games going on.

I have friends that live in Alabama so I will cheer for whomever they cheer for. So it will be Clemson because they are diehard Auburn fans and despise "Bama.

I really wanted Georgia to be in this mix.

This one looks to be about as evenly matched as any title game could be. Even moreso than the first 2 title game matchups between these two. I would think Clemson only having a true freshman at QB gives Alabama the advantage, but obviously Trevor Lawrence isn't the regular true freshman QB. He's even better than Fromm was last year. Whoever can establish the run game first will win, IMO.

The only thing that can happen is a Clemson win to make this interesting.

College Football is getting boring, if you arent a fan of like 5-10 teams these days theres almost no point. This is probably the same game next year.

College football needs a Clemson win.

ANOTHER Bama win would just be the same old boring outcome

I really want Clemson to win just like 90% of America but I just can't see it. Alabama had their scare against Georgia, don't see them letting that happen again and Lawrence hasn't seen anything like those Alabama beasts (not even close) so I think it'll be an eye opening experience for him.
It'll probably be something like 34-17 with Alabama pulling away late.

That trend started in January 2007 (Florida-Ohio State) And has occurred all but twice since then.

True but it was once random during the BCS days because it wasn't always a set game. Sometimes it was a new years game. Sometimes like in 04 2 games were in play. I think most of the other times it was just coincidence.
