Yeah, that pass to the outside needs to be coming down when Adams turns for it so that there's very little chance for the DB to get the jump on it. That's one you learn from with experience.

He has the arm to throw those passes, it's the timing and consistency that's the issue.

Unfortunately the unwritten rule seems to be that it has to be very obviously over the line. Just like in the hockey where linesman lets the player dump it in icing free even if he was just before the centre line when he shot it,

Every single QB he has had, the gameplan is to constantly throw 5 yards and under.

That's what I want to see from Streveler -- a nice 30 yard pass there. He needs to get these type range passes down, and build his confidence. He's been pretty accurate today. Not to bad so far.

Strev isn’t a great QB but he’s got enough of an arm.

You don’t develop a QB constantly throwing short screen passes.

Great post --and I totally agree. The Bombers have to call more of these mid range passes -- like in the 25 to 35 yard range. These 5-10 yard passes are not going to get you to far -- you have to be able to hit those mid range passes --and La Police has to have the confidence in Streveler to call those plays. So far today, he's been pretty good.
