From BP:
Scouting Comments:
"Tall, lean, & quiet in net. Took Sweden to U-18 title."
-- Red Line Report

Strengths:
Excellent size and athleticism with calm movement. Makes himself big and allows lots of pucks to hit him.

Weaknesses:
Timing is an issue as he has a tendency to go down too early. Rebound control is non-existent at this early part of his career.

Projection:
Project goaltender can develop into a solid NHL backup who can spot start when pressed into service

It just occurred to me we drafted a Swede.....that like never happens. Take your time on this kid. We're gonna need a backup in a couple of years. I'd be okay with him staying in Sweden for a little while like Vasy did in Russia. Then get him to Syracuse. Hope to see him in Tampa in a few years

We drafted a Swedish goalie last year too.

He's really solid, so calm. I find you never really notice a goalie's blocker hand, but watching him I was struck by how many times it was obvious how good he is at directing pucks into corners with his blocker. Definitely interested to track his progress and see how he turns out.

He was so close to getting his first shutout in his first game, 31 seconds away from it. Got his W after a shootout.

The kid looks very good. His SHL stats are amazing (8 GP, 1.95 GAA, .920 SV%) . When you consider he's a 18 y/o rookie his stats get even more impressive.
