he hit knees with a player 3 weeks ago, didn't look good, but then they just called it a sprain and nothing else wrong. Which is why I expected him to only miss 2 or 3 games, not 3 weeks worth of games.

Charley horses can be problematic. Need to take care to deal with any bleeding deep in the muscle tissue. Absolutely don't want to rush his return. It is just time (assuming it is still a charley horse and not a knee injury).

And Nate Schnarr is having a fantastic year! Could be a great addition as soon as next year. Has a weird/poor skating stride so that may require some additional time but he has everything else: size, skill, physicality, drive...

Nate Schnarr just had a great week and is sitting just 4pts shy of 100. Btw, Hayton is still out with an injury, which is now going on 3 weeks.
Below is what was in the SooToday paper yesterday:
Greyhounds captain Barrett Hayton missed the game due to an injury suffered on Feb. 19 at home against Sarnia.
The veteran forward has missed six games and Dean said the 18-year-old remains out day-to-day and the team won’t rush him back into the lineup.

Local paper (London Free Press) has great little write up on Schnarr and Prosvetov today - enjoy:

Is Hayton making progress? From a medical point of view, sounds like this could be something more serious, like a sprained MCL for instance, rather than just a charley horse (which would have resolved by now). Hopefully Hayton is back soon.

Kirk has been really impressive for his first year in North America. And doing so on a very average Petes team too.
