Updated...Axel Bergkvist had a great week and is now at .70ppg in his 1st (post Draft) year in the OHL for Kitchner.

2 points in his first ten, 19 in his last twenty games.

Be huge if he turned into a decent prospect.

Easy to be excited at the potential of a few of the Coyotes prospects - Maccelli and Jenik especially. The true test is how the team can develop them now. Last few high end prospects have not exactly panned out (save for Chychrun). Hayton is still a question mark (not that he will be an NHLer but if he earns his top 5 status).

Saarajarvi has been added & Schnarr, Merkley, Bahl removed

Axel Bergkvist is still tearing it up...wow, what a pick for 7th rounder - kid has a bomb of a shot
The difference in Bergkvist from before the coaching change until now is night and day. He's gone from looking lost, passive and ineffective offensively, to being a really solid offensive defenseman. His confidence has gone from 0 to 60 almost over night.

Axel keeps climbing, Farinacci had 3pts in 2games and is close to a PPG as a freshman, now he's playing in a different league than the top prospects (Caufield/Turcotte/Zegras), but he's still producing at a very high level for a freshman

Liam Kirk I believe is nursing some sort of injury as he's missed a couple games and only has 1pt in his last 5 games. I think Tendeck is going to get signed, he's having anther stellar year for the Vancouver Giants, plus with the potential of trading Raanta in the off-season and having Hill as the backup, we'll need a backup for Prosvetov in Tucson.

Tendeck's numbers are great when you consider he's on a 15th place team. Hofer and Wolf play for 2 and 3. He should get a contract at this rate.

Agreed...next year he can play backup to Prosvetov or go and be the main guy in Rapid City...either way, his production warrants a contract.

This just makes all those tweets by Simmons look more and more foolish.
