watched some of Romanov's game as I started flipping back and forth with Olofsson's game. His team won 4-1, he was the 6th D today as Dahlback didn't play. He ended up with 14:49 TOI, his 4th highest of the season but this time they balanced it well as it was real close between the 4 to 7, here's the TOI for the game,

Robinson - 20:53
Nesterov - 20:46
Kiselevich - 17:12
Marchenko - 15:43
Naumenkov - 15:23
Romanov - 14:49
Blazhiyevsky - 13:32

Good stuff. Also, Patrik Bexel tweeted that Romanov saw time on the PP and the PK, which hasn't been the case much before, even in games CSKA had a comfortable lead.

I didn't notice that but then again I often switch back to work when there's a PP since he never plays there but was wondering how he ended up with 4 shots, that's like 3 weeks of shots in one game. I saw one shot but it was nothing and I wasn't sure it even hit the goalie as I thought it went wide but when I saw him listed with 4 shots I thought that must have counted. Before today he had 17 shots in 14 games.

What's most impressive in the 15 games he's played isn't the +8 but the fact that in 14 of those games he's been either a plus or even player. 1 game so far as a whopping -1. Granted he's only playing 12:38 on average and being on the best team in the KHL doesn't hurt but still it's very impressive for a 19 year old.

He was the same last year, him and Harris, and while I know how useless the plus minus stat can be, and it's clearly more of a team stat but in context where you have 2 rookies playing their off-side and are almost never a minus, I don't care what others say about that stat it's impressive. Now how it translates to the NHL may not mean a thing but still good to see from them at 18 and now 19.

So being desperate for some info, I checked out the University of Wisconsin website-knowing that they had a Red vs White scrimmage on Sunday. You see, I am eager to see how Caufield does in the NCAA. No news at all on the website, but in the twitter feed I believe he had 3 g's at least for the Red side, which lost 13-7.

Khisamutdinov with 3 shots, no points, even, 15:02 TOI which ups his ave to 12:16 and the last 3 games have all been over 13 mins. In his 7 KHL games he's got 13 shots so clearly he's not shy from shooting the puck.

His last 3 games TOI from oldest to today,
13:15
14:36
15:02

Oloffson another pointless game, he had 2 pims, even, 1 hit 40% on draws, 14:51 TOI. That's also a season high in TOI for him in either SHL or Champions league games. He did play 14:01 2 days ago in the Champions league and before that his season high in SHL/CHL games was 14:36 in his fist game of the season (Champions)
