Thanks for these easy format posts, makes it way easier for us casuals who don't really follow our prospects.

Figures I turned the game off cause Romanov wasn't playing much at all, he played just 2:46 in the 1st as it was a tight game at the time and he was used as the 7th D. So I turned it off and he goes on and has a 2 pt night, after not having any points all season. Ends up, 2 assists, 15:23 TOI which is just the 2nd time this year he played over 15 mins as his team won 9-3

It's funny. On most nights, he's listed on a pairing with Nesterov, but he ends up being the 5th or 6th most used defenseman. Today, he was listed as the 7th D and he had the 4th most TOI.

Romanov has mostly been the 6th D or 7th when everyone is healthy. They roll with Robinson, Nesterov, Marchenko and Kiselevich as the top 4 and then Dahlbeck as the stay at home 5th.

Here's their # of games this season and average TOI in order,

Nesterov - 11 games, 20:56
Robinson - 10, 19:34
Marchenko - 12, 19:14
Kiselevich - 12, 18:55
Dahlbeck- 11, 15:22
Naumenkov - 5, 14:37
Blazhiyevsky - 5, 12:48
Romanov - 12, 12:39
Chmykhov - 6, 11:46

Naumenkov is the only one without a point now that Romanov got on the board.

No Khisamutdinov today in the KHL.

Norlinder - 1 g, Even, 3 shots, 2 pims, gamesheet has him playing 10:56 if that's correct. They also have him listed at RD.

Ylonen - 0 pts, -3, 3 shots, 19:17 TOI.

Dichow didn't get the start but was brought in half way through the 2nd, not sure if the starter got injured but it was right after he gave up a goal making it 2-0. Dichow stopped 13 of 14 shots.

Also I just watched a game of McShane's from 9-27 vs the Steelheads, McShane had 2 goals, was playing LW and saw a lot of time on the PK even on a 5 on 3 which I was surprised to see. His 1st goal was a solid shot but was aided by his linemate who was screening the goalie. His 2nd goal he broke into the zone in a hurry and I don't know what happened as the goalie caught an edge or just isn't any good but he was down before McShane even make his move, had a easy backhander.

Still don't like the skating and he still needs to move his feet more.

I watched Romanov through the 1st but like the previous game I just got feed up of wasting my time so I turned it off. He ended up,

0 pts, even, 3 shots, 9:52 TOI

His team lost 2-1, he played 3 minutes in the 1st so since I had some shit to do I figured it wasn't worth watching.

Didn't watch Olofsson but shocking he went pointless again, poor guy hasn't had a point in forever outside of the goal he got credited for in the summer showcase that didn't even go in.

He was even on the day, played 9:56

Salmon Arm is up 2-0 after two periods against Wenatchee Wild. Ruscheinski with an assist on the second goal.

It's his second assist in two consecutive games. And his second point of the season (today is his 10th game).

Norlinder played over 25 minutes today, odd how they are using him, in the last 5 games,

14:59
20:40
15:30
10:56
25:02

at some point i will see him play, CMore is expensive though so we'll see.

Ylonen - 1g, 1a, +2, 2 pims, 20:04 TOI

that's a season high in TOI and 6 of the last 8 games he's played over 19 mins.

McShane with an assist as Oshawa is up 2-0 on Flint.

Sam Houde scores his third of the season to put Chicoutimi up 3-0 on Halifax.

Sam Houde has an assist, as well. Chicoutimi is up 4-0. He's got a goal and an assist so far.

Pitlick with his second goal of the season. Omaha is tied 1-1 against Tri-City.

Houde is off to a good start, don't know how much of it has to do with his age though. I do recall that he was overwhelmed by the intensity/level of the Rocket's practices in his PTO there. Maybe he realized that he needed to take the extra steps in his training. Ruscheinski also has back to back assists.

On a side note, what are your expectations for our CHL prospects for them to earn a contract?

For me it'd be something like this:

Fonstad: 75-80 pts.
McShane: 75 pts
Houde: 70 pts
Hillis: 70 pts

IMO - the bar will be set very high because we have so many good prospects and more picks coming. I think all of those guys will need to really tear it up to get contracts. I am hoping that at least one does, but wouldn't count on it.

Stapley begins his new season tonight.

And to a less interesting extent, Arvind Henrikson (still a Habs prospect) is also playing his first game tonight in the NCAA for Lake Superior.
