Koepke scoring on Chrona

Cajkovic scored his 1st goal of the season. Injuries have really limited him to start the season. This weekend was his 4th and 5th game, his first since October 11th.

This piece also indicates with certainty that Martin will be sent back to Orlando. I'm not as sure about that one.

Meanwhile, the guy Orlando brought back to fill out the position:

Coaches had Nolan Foote out in the last minute of the game down 1-0 and Foote gets an assist on the game tying goal with 20 seconds to go to force OT.

The last game of the series is tonight.

The game goes to OT, then a shootout, where Canada uses Foote as one of their shooters. Foote doesn't score on his attempt and Russia wins game 6 making the series tied 3 games to 3. Another shootout is used to determine the winner and Foote scores twice to keep it going, and then to win it for Canada

2 goal game for Semykin. 1st goal is @ 2:47. 2nd goal is @ 5:50

another goal here @ 0:30 seconds into the video

Semykin has 5 goals & 15pts through 20 games. That's 8th best in the MHL among dmen. He's only 5 points behind the league leader, and that dman has played 8 more games.

Hugo Alnefelt making his case to start for Sweden next month in the WJC with a good performance at the U-20 4 Nations Tournament

Sweden came out on top in the U20 Four Nations tournament played in Finland over the weekend. The Tre Kronor juniors had 2-1 wins over Finland and the Czech Republic, as well as an emphatic 6-1 victory against Russia.

....

Sweden’s Hugo Alnefelt was the top goalie, allowing just two goals in his two appearances for a save ratio of 96.36%.

Hey @HoseEmDown , been looking at Syracuse stats, are we finally seeing the Boris katchouk that you and I expected a season ago?
His 2 goal game was a shot taken outside the blue line and went in and an empty netter. He still plays with very little pace and can’t seem to handle the puck or read developing plays. I would be surprised if he ever makes it to the NHL.

I don’t know who does the Crunch game recaps on boltprospects.com, but they’ve gotten Spencer Martin’s name backwards every single time.

N.Foote named to Canada's selection camp. Gabriel Fortier was left off the roster.

Hugo Alnefelt named to Sweden's preliminary roster

google translated:
Sweden's head coach Tomas Montén today presented Sweden's preliminary squad for the junior World Cup. The squad has three goalkeepers and one of them is HV71's Hugo Alnefelt.

Hugo Alnefelt was today selected in the Junior Chronicles squad for JVM. Hugo has impressed a lot during the first part of the season. With 92.04 in SVS% and 1.94 in GAA in his eight matches, he is among the best goalkeepers in SHL.
