Wow, another forward when we need more help on D. I guess more added toughness. I'm guessing his skating really held him back big time and he couldnt even hold onto an AHL spot. He's our Jake Marchment replacement.

Gulls win 5-2. 3 goals for Pietila, 1 for Kopacka and Tropp. Stolarz stopped 30 of 32. Final preseason game is on Monday at Honda Center.

Really surprised they didn't opt for a location that already has a WHL team. Portland would've made too much sense I guess.
