Bruins fans I agree, Leafs fans want it pretty badly though. Meme or not, Matthews is unfairly critiqued on a daily basis and him winning the Rocket would be a pretty well deserved reward
Honestly while I would like to see Matthews win the Rocket Richard, if he scores over 50+ goals and didn't win it I wouldn't be upset.

I can’t see him falling short at this point unless he gets injured. Outside of one six game streak he’s been the most consistent scorer in the league this year. Ovi and Pasta are riding multiple hat tricks on the season, Matthews is just getting 1/2 goals every few games which is generally more sustainable.

Gonna be fun though gotta admit

So far this season Matthews has only gone 2 games in a row without getting at least 1 point in a game. I'm not sure how many games he's gone in a row without scoring a goal. My point is in the last 2 games Matthews did not register any points, so tonight don't be surprised if he gets at least 1 goal and ties Pastrnak for the lead in goals scored.

Also so far this season Matthews has had 1 hat trick and at least 9 other games where he's had at least 2 goals scored.

Matthews ties it up. Still has a period left in his game and the puck hasn't even dropped on OV's game yet as well.

Marchand was in a considerable slump (more than a month) but has completely broken out of it the last couple games. I think that gives Pasta a shot again.

5 games. From 11/27 to 12/4. Vs Det, Buf (two games), Phi, Col.

His worst month for goals was November, with 5 (October 11, December 11, January 9, February 5 so far).

As a Bruins fan I still think it is between Ovie and AM. I will be happy if Pasta hits 50. At least he will finish in the top 3. I cannot see anyone else challenging those three.

Pastas lead didn’t last too long

I don’t think any of the three will lead for very long. Have a feeling the winner won’t be decided until the final regular season game. All 3 are excellent goal scorers
