It draws from a much larger talent pool and also features games against the powerhouse USMNTDP. I disagree with this assessment, it is a significantly more talented league in my opinion.

At no point did I comment on the respective qualities of those two leagues. I stand by my assertion though that the USHL is a very young league. I honestly haven't watched enough of the Finnish U20 circuit to comment too much on it, but I suspect that you are correct in terms of the overall depth of the league. That does not change the fact though that he would be routinely lining up against and practicing against younger players just like in Finland. Waterloo will play the NDTP only twice this season. Anyways, unlike the CHL, the best players in the USHL are done with the league at 18. The league exists solely to move players to NCAA hockey.

And again, if he needs to complete school in Finland to be NCAA eligible academically, this is all a moot discussion. I also stand by my point that his single biggest weakness (strength, explosiveness and skating) can improve regardless of the league he plays in. Hell, Finland may actually be better if he is given access to his clubs professional coaches.

Hi all - I'm currently compiling lists of each team board's top prospect rankings. It looks like yours is done, but I don't see a thread that lists the results. Would someone mind either directing me to this thread/post or simply making one? I believe @Cyborg Yzerberg was working on the polls.

Thanks!

Berggren with a sick feed today jeez.... Still barely playing (only 6 min thru 2 periods)

Great to see that's he's off to a good start after being out for such a long time. If he keeps generating chances the ice time will increase so wouldn't be too worried about that. He hasn't played much PP yet but that should change if he keeps it up.

Soderblom with the only Goal in the Shootout, 5-4 Win... It's actually considered a Goal (his 5th in 2 Games) in the Stats lol
If males are gonna be in the Swedish junior league in their D+1, this is exactly the kind of production we need to see.

2.5 goals per game obviously is nowhere near sustainable, but it’s clear he has gained confidence and has a bigger role on his team, of which he is taking advantage.

Good starts for both Soderblom and Tuomisto (in the Finnish league).

Setkov definitely deserved that minus, what a brutal play on the goal by Gunler.

I saw that goal but didn't even pay attention to who the D was. Yikes.

@ChadS is a Godsend.
