Man what a year for Soderblom so far... 2 Even Strength Assists and was +3 today in a 5-2 Win.

Now has 10 Goals 7 Assists in his 1st 14 Games... He now has the same amount of points that he had in 44 regular season games last year

Scott Wheeler for The Athletic just put out an article today about Robert Mastrosimone. It’s The Athletic, so there is a paywall. After reading this, it’s hard to see Mastrosimone not making it to the NHL.

Here’s one of the many quotes from the article:

Steel coach Greg Moore raves about Mastrosimone as a player who would go wall-to-wall to finish checks and block shots on the penalty kill. Moore relied on him to be the go-to guy on a defensive zone faceoff when the Steel were up by a goal – and the guy to manufacture goals on his own late in a period when they were down.
