Could pull a similar type of deal like Biega. Guys clear waivers and then get traded. Teams don't want to add another contract for a waiver player in most cases. Would rather keep the net # of contracts that they have even.

If he gets cleared although he’s clearly struggled I doubt mtl would trade a former 1st let’s say to get back delarose cause at this point it would be between him and ehn(who I wouldn’t part with) cause abdelkader,Nielsen etc have too much money and term left .... like I said too much trash on the team

Explains why I didn’t see him on the Oilers roster page. Archibald was activated off IR and played this afternoon.

Cave is just a warm body. A team looking for size can pick him up. He’s not awful or anything.
