Prospect forward ranks ain't getting much help from the system.
I had hope for his teammate McPhee but he hasn't done much the last 2 seasons.
Six interesting Oilers prospects to watch: What is Broberg's ceiling? - Sportsnet.ca
More smoke for our euro blueliners crossing the pond?
Maybe it's just Mark Spector, but considering Pulju's instagram challenge to McDavid earlier this week (so considering nothing), are things thawing on the Pulju front?
It seems like time to trade some middling roster players for some 3/4 round picks and draft a bit forward heavy next year.
Hacky sack with a TP roll I thinj
I don't care either way. Ahl or SEL. But I hope he gets far more opportunity than bottom pairing 14 minutes a night. That's just brutal.
Condors blueline looking very weak next year. Lots of ice time for Samourukov.
Not exactly brutal. That's what 18 year olds generally get in the SHL.
Pretty standard for 18 YO D
Next year in Bakers, Lagesson and Samourukov should be getting 20+ mins a game. Hopefully they are up to the task and can excel
Lagesson will be with the Oilers or Claimed on Waivers
I highly doubt Lagesson would be claimed.
Every team has someone like him.
Not at all surprising. He didn't have a fantastic year. It's obvious he is a guy they see high potential in but down the road and not any time soon
Sucks for our Q boys in Lavoie and Rodrigue. One of their teams could have won the Q and also had a chance to be part of the the memorial cup.
Broberg's team rolled with 7D every game. Him averaging 14mins/night may not euaqte to bottom pairing Dman.
If Lagesson is with the Oilers then Jones or/and Bouchard would not be.
No way we ice such an inexperienced lineup. Lagesson would pass waivers and should be one of the first ones to get called up.
Kind of surprising in a sense but if that's what they believe is best for him then so be it.
Is Gernat completely written off as an Oiler?
That's usually what happens when you trade a player.
(He was traded for Maroon.)
Yep...that will do it!
Interesting name!! It seems he was third in scoring for defensemen in the Czech league this just behind some guy named Ladislav Smid who was second.
Neither of them could catch Jaroslav Spacek at first.
Looks like Tomas Mazura will now do a year in the USHL before going to Providence College in 2021
That's awesome news.
Chicago has been churning out prospects lately. They're a top notch USHL organization.
He must be buddies with Adam Fantilli, a 2023 draft eligible phenom. He played with him and his brother at Kimball Union this year. They're all committed to the Steel next season. So is Owen Power, a 2021 eligible D who scored at close to a PPG there last season as a 16 year old.
