It seems like time to trade some middling roster players for some 3/4 round picks and draft a bit forward heavy next year.

Not exactly brutal. That's what 18 year olds generally get in the SHL.

Next year in Bakers, Lagesson and Samourukov should be getting 20+ mins a game. Hopefully they are up to the task and can excel

I highly doubt Lagesson would be claimed.

Every team has someone like him.

Not at all surprising. He didn't have a fantastic year. It's obvious he is a guy they see high potential in but down the road and not any time soon

Broberg's team rolled with 7D every game. Him averaging 14mins/night may not euaqte to bottom pairing Dman.

If Lagesson is with the Oilers then Jones or/and Bouchard would not be.
No way we ice such an inexperienced lineup. Lagesson would pass waivers and should be one of the first ones to get called up.

Interesting name!! It seems he was third in scoring for defensemen in the Czech league this just behind some guy named Ladislav Smid who was second.

Chicago has been churning out prospects lately. They're a top notch USHL organization.

He must be buddies with Adam Fantilli, a 2023 draft eligible phenom. He played with him and his brother at Kimball Union this year. They're all committed to the Steel next season. So is Owen Power, a 2021 eligible D who scored at close to a PPG there last season as a 16 year old.
