Here are the 3 points recorded by Ty Tullio today, maybe our team's most underrated prospect:

Assist — Tullio, #74, wins the battle behind the net and gets the primary assist

Goal #1

Goal #2

Mike Kesselring is playing right now, to be followed by Carter Savoie.

Kesselring is our most underrated prospect in my opinion. What time is Savoie playing?

Yes because one season describes what a player is in the NHL

Unfortunately he's been mediocre for more than one at this point, and he's at the games played / age where you start to figure he is what he is. Always felt the point of no return was the St Louis turn game two seasons ago (also the game that turned around St Louis' seasons IMO). Had a beauty goal and then got wrecked on a play later in the game, hasn't looked the same since. I was at that game, Oilers were winning and came back to lose. Brutal game that demoralized more than a few players it seemed.

Edit: Felt at the time that Khaira was going to be a fairly dominant third line winger that could do effective spot duty on the top six. Could be he bounces back a bit this year but not sure

With 2+1 today, Ty Tullio now has 5 points in 4 games playing on the worst team in Slovakia's top pro league. Not too shabby.

Carter Savoie plays again today, his last game before a bit of a break.

Tullio seems like a gamer for sure, and a PPG as a draft eligible player in the OHL isn't anything to sneeze at. But I think we need to be careful with whatever stats he puts up this year over there. The Slovakia pro league isn't exactly known for producing players. The top 3 scorers in the league right now were all undrafted, and the 4th/5th highest scoring players were both 7th round picks. There are likely some NCAA teams that would beat the Slovakian teams.

I see his potential as a good PK guy who can pot around 10 goals.
Khaira needs to quit believing he can be a scoring winger or centre like he was in the AHL. He cant do that now. He need to focus on becoming the best defensive player he can. He needs to want to win every battle south of the red line and believe that he can. Then he can start to reach for his potential in the game.[/QUOTE]

Carter Savoie, NCAA — 1st in pts (U19)
Ty Tullio, Slovakia — 1st in pts/gp (U19)
Raphael Lavoie, Allsvenskan — 1st in pts (U21)
Ryan McLeod, National League — 3rd in pts (U22)
Tyler Benson, Swiss League — 1st in pts (U23)
Maxim Denezhkin, VHL — 1st in pts (U21)
Matej Blumel, Czech — 1st in pts (U21)

Tullio, Lavoie, and Denezhkin play on terrible offensive teams to boot.

Lots of arrows up for our forward prospects.
