1. Sixers
2. Clippers
3. Clippers
4. Curry
5. Kings
6. Rockets
7. Blake Griffin to the Trailblazers

I share a lot of these thoughts as well.

Could see Riley give in to OKC if Winslow/Dragic don't play well at PG for Chris Paul.
But only if he doesn't give up Bam or Herro.

1. Who wins the East? Bucks

2. Who wins the West? Clippers

3. Who wins the championship? Clippers. They're deep and have arguably the best player in the league. George's shoulder injuries could be a concern but for now I'll assume he'll be healthy.

4. Who is the MVP? Giannis. I think he could have an even better offensive season with the same elite defense.

5. Biggest surprise team? Heat. A lot of people have them towards the bottom of the East playoff bracket but I think they can compete for home court in the first round.

6. Biggest disappointment? Nets

7. Big trade prediction? Who? To where? Kevin Love to the Blazers.

1. Who wins the East? Bucks
2. Who wins the West? GSW
3. Who wins the championship? Bucks
4. Who is the MVP? Stephen Curry
5. Biggest surprise team? Atlanta Hawks / PHX Suns
6. Biggest disappointment? Rockets
7. Big trade prediction? Who? To where? - OKC nabs Bradley Beal or Miami finally goes for CP3 after they struggle early on. Pat "Smiling Faces" Riley can't help himself.

Curry is already the best PG of his era but this would launch him into the top 5/top 3 PG of all time discussion. GS bands together like back in the old days and with a healed + rested Klay, goes all the way. They don't win, but Curry has a monster playoffs.

The offseason thread we were using for preseason talk has predictably turned into an unreadable mess so I'll just post this here:

The usual "it's preseason" qualifiers apply, even for future superstars like Zion and Herro, but Thybulle is living up to the draft hype on the defensive end. There are plenty of questions about the Sixers offense and specifically their shooting but good luck scoring on them. Embiid, Horford, Simmons, Richardson, and Thybulle are going to be a pain to play against.

Beal just surprisingly signed an extension so I'll change my in season trade prediction to Kevin Love to the Blazers.

I forgot Klay Thompson tore his ACL in the Finals. You know what, I'll stick by my Warriors prediction.

I'm going to stick by my Bradley Beal trade prediction too, lets not forget Blake Griffin got traded after he signed a contract too so it's not out of the realm of possibility.

This extension means Beal can't be traded for six months and that takes us past the trade deadline so the earliest he can be traded now is next offseason. Blake's situation was different as a free agent so they were able to trade him three months into the season.

Terrible. The biggest (only?) concern with him was injuries, specifically his knees, and this happens before he even plays a single game. Hopefully he'll be good after he recovers and this isn't a sign of things to come.

I really think he would be wise to drop some weight. Not that he's overweight exactly, but like Embiid, he's a big guy and 82 games is a long slog. And his style of play tempts fate.

MJ said Steph is not a HoFer. He also said he'd take Pippen and Worthy over Bird.
