I thought they had to scratch him tonight and that if he played he can’t go down without waivers?

This is my understanding. Because he played tonight, he'd have to go through waivers to be sent down, so it appears he won't join the Reign.

It's apparently 10 games & 30 days. He'll be a few days shy of 30 days, so no waivers required.

That appears to be the case. I was mistaken earlier.

However, it appears they may not send him down anyway.

I agree with you. Lewis just seems like an American car with 100,000 miles on it, hoping to get another 20+ games out of him. Does LA need another 4th round pick? I guess, but what ever.
