I guess Lewis is playing as we’re in danger of picking up too many points recently.

Random thought: HFBoards on desktop is really ugly. I created a stylesheet to make it a little better. I use Firefox and the Stylus extension to modify styles. If you find it equally annoying, feel free to use this stylesheet:

Code:
body {
    font-size: 16px !important;
    padding-bottom: 0;
}

.breadcrumb .crust a.crumb {

I can accept the Kovy signing...I can accept ALMOST ANYTHING...but the LIED when they said "we understand we need to be entertaining and fans expect that" and they are putting Lewis back in the lineup?? I do not even want to watch tonight. I was enjoying watching Grundstrom work the boards and go to the net...and knock a few opponents on their butts and he has 3 assists and close to scoring 3 or 4 times...one will soon go in....and watching Pro roof a puck in tight at the end of a game to pull the Kings back and deflect another one in that was pretty elite hands......both goals in which Lewis could never do...and Todd lied when he said Pro knows he;s in the lineup. Bullshit. WHATTHEACTUALF###? I have watched 90% of all televised King games in 4 decades and not wanting to watch this one.

I have to agree with you right here, I'm pretty f***ing annoyed with the lineup decisions. I have really enjoyed watching Porky play these last few games.

Embrace the tank Sir. That's the only thing I got.

Tangent but why can we put a man on the moon 60 years ago but in 2019 LED Christmas lights all look like total dogshit? All the white ones look piss yellow and the colored ones look like they all came from the 99 cent store. WTF?

I need answers.

Against the Sharks, Prokhorkin only had 11 shifts, the lowest for any forward that's played a whole game so far, and one of the lowest total ice times for any player on the roster so far. Grundstrom only had 12 shifts himself, which is also one of the fewest this year. Whatever those two did in the last game, apparently TM wasn't a fan of it.

But he was totally fine with the bozofest in OT I guess. I mean, I haven’t been very impressed with Grundstrom this season but if ever there was a year to let guys like him and Prokhorkin work through some shit, this would be it...

You guys aren’t excited to see Trevor Lewis back in the lineup? The Kings have been missing his four goals over the past two seasons, three last year, and one this season.

That's what the AHL is for. And Prokhorkin is already 26. He doesn't have much, if any, development left. If he sits a game, whatever. He's not playing much anyway. He's barely cracking 10 minutes on average in the month of November. That's not including the last game. There's something he's not doing. Lizotte is getting his time. Kempe is being forced in there. It's not as if TM isn't playing any younger guys. Walker.

Even going back the end of last year, the start of the offseason, I never expected some mass transformation of the team. I'm kind of surprised they flat out said Kovalchuk won't play anymore, but a guy like Lewis, if he's healthy, he's going to be in there on the 4th line. Quick is going to be the #1. Kopitar and Doughty will still get their time(although I think it would be great if they played less).

Carter playing C again. Lizotte stealing a spot in camp. Got Kempe moving to the wing. Clifford isn't sitting. Wagner doesn't play much, but he now has 82 games under his belt. Iafallo is going to play. He's not very good, but he's consistent. Toffoli is going to play. Brown is obviously going to play. There aren't many spots. If Luff gets his 10 minutes or so, than Grundstrom won't. If Grundstrom does, than Luff won't. If Kovalchuk wasn't banished, Luff wouldn't be playing either. It's a numbers game.

It's not fun, but at the very least Toffoli and Lewis won't be here next year. Clifford shouldn't be either, because everything from the past needs to be purged, but he might be. A couple more young guys will get some more opportunity. Just not right now. Hopefully no later than the deadline, but cross that bridge later.

I don’t disagree with you on any particular point, just feels like weather we “showcase” Lewis or not, what’s the point? 4th round pick gonna turn into a 3rd? Rather have Grundstrom get some more minutes to see if he can recapture some of what we saw last season.
