I said it before and I will say it again, if not for injuries LaBerge would be much higher (if not already potentially in the NHL already or at least fighting for a legit spot this year). Such a bummer when the injury bug bites. It seems like we have awful luck in this regard. Has anyone ever looked into like top three round picks and injury history to see just where we stack up? Probably not and probably hard to judge who was derailed because of injuries or who just wasn't as good as advertised.

Whoever predicted #29 on the roster and #1 in the AHL, congrats. You are one sick bastard.

halfway thru the season, what would a current top 10 or 15 look like?
biggest riser? disappointment? out of nowhere surprises?
love zamula by the way, that's another steal by the flyers.

Zamula could be top 3 with Frost, Farabee and Myers graduating.

Sushko and Twarysnki would be my biggest risers from the lower ranks. Kase and Bunnaman should also move up, although Bunnaman has been injured and produced very little in the AHL. NAK will also be graduating after 19-20.

As far as fallers go, Ratcliffe has done the exact opposite of what Dave Isaac predicted, and Rubtsov, Allison, Morin, O'Brien have all suffered more injuries to stunt their growth.

Also, Laberge is having a better season than Strome.

York, Brink, & Zamula are the new top 3 in my book. Ratcliffe is probably 4. He’s disappointed, but I’ve always thought he’d be a longer road & I haven’t given up.
Laczynski & Cates knocking on the door next.
