I'd expand this to top 10, but there's caveats for Brink, Allison, and York, as those college guys obviously weren't making the team as they didn't even come to camp. So, from the top 10, 7 could/should be on the team and playing* hypothetically before Twar.

*Morin as a healthy scratch isn't much better than him being in the AHL. Let's see if there's a rotation at all, then it becomes 6 of the top 10, instead of 7.

Just for fun I added a column with net change from last year. For the four who weren't chosen this year, but were ranked last year, I treated them as if they tied for 31st. The only two ranked players from last year who were removed were Vasiliev and Martel who finished 30 and 28 last year, so no skaters moved up as a result of someone ahead of them being removed from the list.

Didn't bother with the goalies since the only change was Ersson passing Ustimenko (aside from the removal of Hart and Stolarz and the addition of Ross.)
