It's actually impressive how bad United are at building out of the back.

Every single pass is just about finding someone open and there's zero thought about what that person is going to do, or even can do, with the ball. Very little movement to either draw pressers away or open a passing lane, just casually moving to a moderately open spot and waiting.

It's pretty clear either they don't focus on it in training hardly ever or that OGS has no idea how to effectively implement it. Or both I guess.

De Gea has made 3 excellent saves (albeit 1 was just offside) in this game too.

Add that to the 2 sitters that Sterling missed and this could easily be 6 - 0

It was impressive how poorly he played that. I understand not wanting to make a rash challenge and give away a penalty, but he just completely gave up on the play after he realized that he got the angle wrong.

The fact that De Bruyne was lining up to go back on the field before he was informed he was subbed off, and that he's going to the bench instead of the locker room, shows how pathetic the concussion protocols of the FA are.
